SP and Auto Updating

I have over 100 PCs set to autoupdate at 4 AM in the
morning. I haven't checked them all but the ones I have
checked have not downloaded and installed Service Pack
2. I keep seeing this DCOM error in the Event Viewer and
wonder if that is stopping the autoupdate. I have had no
problems with Auto Updating until this and wonder why
none of my PCs are updating via AU. The exact error is
Access denied attempting to launch dcom server using
default permissionlaunch The server is and then a long
number. ID 10003 and source is dcom. Thanks for any
help or suggestions.

Go to
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/sp2predl.mspx
and see the section on 'Download and deploy to multiple machines'. In
particular get the single 266 MB download and save it, then take
appropriate steps to deploy it to the machines. *Don't* try to do it
via auto update
