Does anyone know how to turn off the sounds (beeps) in
Windows XP? My computer does not have a speaker.

How can you have "sounds" if you have no speaker???

start > Run > Regedit > OK >
Now navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Control Panel > Sound
Beep on the list on the right.
Right click on it and select Modify
Change the value equal to no > Restart
