Sounds in "Program Events"

I deleted "Quicken" from my XP Home system, but there are still "Quicken"
sound events listed in My Control Panel, Sounds, Program Events.

Can these Quicken entries be deleted?

You'll find those stored in the registry. Your current settings are stored at HKCU\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps. You should see the entry under that for Quicken. This defines the sounds that you want configured. You can remove the Quicken entries from there
