Dual Monitor Issue

I drive two monitors with Windows XP; primary on the left. Some time ago, I
moved the startup default screen for my Quicken program to the right monitor
(secondary). Resolution on the primary is 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600 on the
secondary. I seldom work with Quicken on the right so most of the time I
move it to the left and close the file from there when I'm done. My problem
is, no matter what I try, I can't get the Quicken startup default screen to
land on the left monitor like it used to. I can get other programs to do
that by merely closing them there. It seems they "remember" where they were
the last time and open there. But not Quicken. Is there some way to force
this through XP?

This can be a pain.

The solution is glarringly obvious (once you have been shown the way).

With nothing bu the desktop open, disable the right hand (secondary)
monitor. Now open quicken, which has no alternative but to open on the
pimary monitor. Now close it again with the 'X' button, top right.

You shoud now be able to re-enable the secondary monitor and position it
back where it was. Quicken should now open where it was closed.
