Whenever I am using my computer I get a semi high pitched beep that comes from the back of the computer. I notice it mostly if I am trying to burn CD's. When the CD's are actually burning the beep does not go off it is continuous. What is this sound and can I stop it?

There could be numerous reasons for this type of problem. One recommendatio
is to set your microphone to Mute for it may be getting feed-back causing th
high pitch sounds. Rightclick the sound icon and click "Open Volume Control",
tick the Mute square and close.
