Soundblaster Live (not 24 bit) on Vista

Vista didnt find my soundblaster live(platinum 5.1 : 16bit) after install.
But when I updated the driver online (from device manager) vista found the
driver and it is working now.

But rear speakers dont work. Speaker types has only "Stereo" option in sound
settings of vista. I think creative will not support this card for vista


Can microsoft enable rear speakers for Live series (Microsoft WDM) drivers ?

If not, I cant buy vista

Sound cards are relatively inexpensive. After Vista ships, buy one that
supports it.
