I installed Vista upgrade and since have no sound at all. I uninstalled the
autio device and restarted the computer but still nothing.
Any help?

In Device Manager is there a yellow exclamation point or red circle next to your
audio adapter? Is there a red X on the Speaker icon in the Notification Area of
the Taskbar?

If not, then right click on the Speaker icon in the Notification Area of the
Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Right click in the window and select both
Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices. Highlight the Speakers
entry and press the Default button. Click on both the Configure and Properties
buttons to set up your audio device. And while you are there, use the Sounds
tab to test your speakers.

Get the latest Vista compatible sound device driver from the computer
manufacturer's web site, the motherboard manufacturer's web site, or for a
retail sound card from the card manufacturer's web site, and install it.
