Hi,

Before i used system restore i use to have a program (dont recall the name
but it was installed when i bought my PC from new, 2 years old now) i could
have surround sound and be able to use monitor speakers, i could also have
different types of sound IE echo, stone wall, hallway, mountains, under water
to name a few so that i would get a different sound effect, but since i have
used system restore that program is not showing and when i try to use the
surround sound or monitor speakers i get no sound?. the only way for me to
hear any sound is through my headset (logitec). I use itunes and if i play
music without my headset (using USB) my itunes wont work unless i plug in my
headset?. If i go into my sound setting's the default device shown is
logitech USB headset and if unplugged i cant change any sound settings? Can
anyone help me with this problem?

Tony, try reinstalling the software and drivers for the sound chip/card.
It should be on a Software CD that came with the
Computer.

AC '97 Audio Control Panel? I have it & very good. It comes with the
MSI motherboards driver install cd. If you don't have one, try your
local PC shop.
