Sound speed

I just added some speakers to a couple of units at work. The problem is the
sound is a bit speeded up to make it irritating. Any ideas? I have tried both
realPlayer and Media Player to see if there is a difference. I am running
Win2000 Pro at work so there is no chance to upgrade it without going through
the god's to be. Ant help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike
