Sound Problems i.e I have none

The sound suddenly stopped on my computer and I have gone through all the
troubleshooter help on widows and nothing works. However I have found out
that I cant change volume control for some reason either. Could the sound
have uninsatalled itself?Im stumped. Would really appreciate help.

Your sound card could be bad. you could try deleting your sound card from
your memory and rebooting. or if you have recently done a restore with your
computer like from a disk and forgot you unplug you speakers from you hard
drive that will make it where you sound will not work. the only thing that
needs to be hooked up is you keyboard, mouse and moniter. nothing in the usb
ports
