Sound Problem

Hi, I have a Sound Blaster Exticy external sound card. I
have recently installed media player 10. My music files
all play, but are distorted in the bass range. I have
MixMeister and Nero software also, but my music plays
perfectly with both.
Does anyone have ideas?

Hello there,

As a first step I would re-install all of the software for the Creative sound
card....I have the Live 5.1 on one system and it seems to go wonky whenever
something major is installed...I have two backup cd's for it now.....just in
case
