Sound problem

Need your help guys..I have a Dell and my kids broke on of the DVD-ROM
drivers and I lost my sound..there is nothing even when I start Windows? Do
you think it is because of the broken driver???

You mean the CD-ROM *drive*, not a *driver*. And your problem could be
sound card failure. Try re-installing your sound card drivers or even buy a
new sound card.
