Sound Problem

M

Mac53

It's driving me nuts!!!
I've reinstalled the operating system.
Windows, cd rom, harddrive, on board sound......everything!
When I reboot, the system starts up fine, no problems.
Device Manager has no errors, so why is the volume very low?
I've turned every sound control up with no changed. I've even reinstalled
the sound driver!!
It's easy to say update the chipset and drivers but this is the same as was
in the system before so it should work.
Anyone got any thoughts.

TIA

Even any Audio software/application/utility provided with the PC and/or
motherboard?

Incorrect drivers, PnP disabled in BIOS, BIOS needs update, speakers/wires/cables
failing, input/output jacks connected wrong, audio software (if needed) not
installed, chipset needs updating, motherboard audio failing, etc, etc.

It not only is easy to mention updating the chipset drivers, it's also easy to do.
You reinstalled the OS, any prior updates that may have been installed either by
yourself or automatically may be required if any update depends on another no matter
who the update distributer was.
Anyone got any thoughts.

See above.

YW.
