Hello,
I've recently had to reinstall Windows XP on my Dell Inspiron 1200 laptop,
and now I have a problem with my sound (before having to reinstall Windows
XP, everything was fine). Listening to music on iTunes is fine, but when I
try to play a DVD, or watch a video file online, the sound is messed up: it
sounds like there are holes in the sound, and misses consistently...so it
sounds kind of scratchy.
I went to the Dell site and installed (and reinstalled) the latest driver
(there was only one driver available) and I also tried several of the
troubleshooting tips listed on my computer relating to sound. I don't know
what else to try. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem?
Thanks.
Arthur
