Sound problem

Whenever I play something with sound it skips and 'gurgles.' This always
happens about 8-10 seconds into the song or video. I have replaced the
speakers and it still happens. I have tried an external hard drive with music
and it still happens. I have tried playing internet music - same problem. And
I have tried both itunes and real player - same problem. Can anyone direct me
on what to try next?

This is likely either a Sound Card issue or Codec interaction between
having multiple players in use. One thing to do is ensure that you have
the latest drivers for your sound card. It's also important that your PCs
motherboard has the latest Chipset driver package installed. If your
sound card is a PCI add-in card ( Not a motherboard component )
then you should check that the card is installed in either Slot #2 or 5.
These slots have independent IRQ assignments and do not share their
IRQ with other peripherals.

Try updating or reinstalling your Sound Drivers from your Motherboard / Sound
Card CD. If you have a seprate sound card installed then try changing it
other one and see if your sound still skips.

Hope this information helps you, let us know!
