sound problem please help

When I play a first person game the sound doesnt work. All the other sounds work except for First person. Please help

I cant hear the Guns or Foot Steps

I'd make sure your sound card drivers are updated and you check the options
in each of the games to verify the correct settings.

I updated the drivers and it still has no sound
