Sound Gone???

I tried to load an old Pinnacle programme "Razzle" and the screen did a
blink, and the message came up>> Installing this programme may cause problems
with your computer as it is an old version and not compatable with XP" After
this I have no solund? and the tray I had the disc in is not recognised?
There may be other things But I havent found them. I tried to tale the
computer back to settings of a month ago but to no avail...any ideas .. Beachy

could be several things, I would start by reinstalling your sound
drivers.....

you may have to hunt down a frwr emulator possibly to run your old
game.

post back please with details how it goes after reinstalling drivers.

Have you tried doing a System Restore back to before you loaded the Pinnacle
program? This should restore all of your previous settings, including sound
settings. It's worth a try and can't do any harm.

Try a System Restore in Safe Mode.
