What's has gone wrong? All sound from mu computer is speeded up (and to those who still remember) it sounds like Pinky & Perky.

What do i need to do to change it?

My computer is a AMD Anthlon(tm) XP 2800+ 2.07ghz, 480mb of RAM (if that helps)

total technophobe, so please bear with me - any advice greatly appreciated

What is pinky and parky when you live dawn sauf? :p

Do you mean it is noisy?

If you do most likely the noise is coming from a fan inside the thing.

when you say sound is speeded up. Is this when you are on the internet or using Windows Media player...? If on the Net then reset Internet Explorer..I had the same problem a while back..It happened on both, but when I restored IE to factory settings it went back to normal..
