I have converted a mp3 file into a .wav file so that it will play in my
presentation, but when I attach it to the slide the song will not play. I
can play the .wav file in the Windows Media Player so I'm not sure why it
will not attach to the slide. Please help!!

Mp3 files will play in all versions of PowerPoint later than 97. Which version
of PowerPoint, and how did you convert your MP3 file into a WAV format?

I am running PowerPoint 2002 and I used a program called EAC to decompress
the mp3 file into a wav file. It has so far worked for every other file that
I have used except for this one. Luckily I followed the link
www.pfcmedia.com and got some kind of program that fixed my problem for this
file. It works now. 1 problem solved, 1 more to go. Thanks for the help!!

Manda;

Thanks for getting back to us that your problem is fixed. BTW, PFCMedia is
written by Austin Myers one of the PowerPoint MVP, who I am sure is happy that
he once again saved the day.
