Sound issues!

T

ta_456

I created and saved a presentation as a PowerPoint Show to e-mail to friends.
I inserted a sound file (wav) to the first slide which plays into the second
slide and inserted a different sound file (also wav) to slide three.
This plays fine on my computer but here's my problem, as soon as my friends
receive this PPT show the first sound file does not play until they reach
slide three which does play???
HELP PLEASE

What is the files size of your first wav file, and what is the max allowed
setting you have set for PowerPoint. In 2007? This setting is accessed by
clicking the Office Button, Advanced, Save and set your max up to 50000KB

email PowerPoint with sounds

Sound files in wav format larger than 100 KB (i.e. anything but a short sound effect) and other file formats are linked to PowerPoint presentation, when you Email the PowerPoint presentation, the linked music will not be shown.

The differences between embed and link, please view:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HA012303071033.aspx

Solution:

1. Put the sound files and the PowerPoint presentation in a same folder.

2. Reinsert the sound file to the PowerPoint presentation.

3. Package the entire folder into one archive file and send it to others. Do not create self-extracting (SFX) archive since most email block EXE files by default. WinZip and WinRAR are both recommended to archive your presentation files for emailing perfectly.

There is also an article about how to email PowerPoint to others perfectly:
