Sound file icon

In PowerPoint XP, I put in a sound file and it plays just fine. But I don't
want to see the sound icon on the slide. I tried right clicking on the icon
to edit it, but that doesn't give me the option to hide the icon.

Just drag the icon in the grey area next to your slide.
Or right click, it choose edit sound object, check the hide during show box.
