sound icon hiding

Ok here's my problem, I inserted a wav file into my presentation went to
custom options and ticked the box that said hide sound icon from slide, then
ran the slide show, but didn't like the song that much, so converted more
files to wav and tried them, BUT when I tried them I keep getting the first
wav file overlapping every other sound I try when running the slide show,
Please how can I go back and UNTICK that damn box for the first song. The
icon is nowhere to be found. Any information would be great.

Are you trying to remove the first sound that you have added? Two areas to
check. Click View > Zoom. Set it to 33%. Did you manage to see the sound icon
there?
Another way is that you can go to Slide Show > Custom Animation. Remove the
added play effect from there. (However, this will not remove the sound file
itself)

If this doesn't work, click Slide Show > Slide Transition. Check to see if
the sound is inserted from there. If so, set it back to "No Sound".

I am using 2003. My 1st slide sound that I voice recorded is playing on the
2nd and final side. I even removed the sound icon from the first slide and
it's still playing on those other slides. Any help is appreciated!
