I keep losing the sound device on my computer, I just bought it and it
happened once, I was able to install Realtek from a recovery disk that came
with the computer, but now that's not working either. The little icon for
volume control on the bottom of the screen disappears and the help screen
says "no sound device detected". I don't know what any of it means and I
just want my sound back, any help offered would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much.

It indicates either there's a problem with your sound card's driver or the
sound card itself is not attached properly to motherboard ,I have
experienced some troubles myself with the Realtek sound cards on a friend's
PC ,it was simply due to incorrect sound driver installed ,If this is the
case you can try finding the right software.

Also if this is an built in sound card I personally recommend disabling it
and installing a stand alone sound card for better performance.
