Sound Controller?

I had to re - install WinXP home
Now I can't fine the sound controller.
No sound.

Any suggestin?

Download and install all your hardware drivers from each of the individual
hardware component's support web page (or from the computer manufacturer's
web page - like Dell, IBM, HP, etc.)
 
If it's a relatively new PC, you won't see the sound controller because you
need to install a specific XP hotfix - delivered w/ the sound card drivers.
You need to use either CD you've received w/ the PC/sound card or go to the
manufacturer's website and download those drivers, as Shenan said.
