sound card

i have a problem iv been told it was my sound card in a
diff post that i made but i cant find the post to post
this topicc in so here it go's

i got avance AC'97 sound card the driver for it has a
date of 8/14/2001 i have jsut found a driver with a date
of 10/14/2002 is this a updated driver or is it not?

the problem was that after i shutdown a game it restars
me pc and give a error message ending in product_256.

Hi Lee,

Yes, the more recent driver is the most up to date one. I usually
suggest the Nov 2002 driver as well from:
