Go to the Windows system mixer: All
programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Volume control.
Click on Options>Proporties. There is a roll-down menue, open it and select
the input device(depends on your sound card what name is used, such as
Sound-IN, SB-Record, etc.). After you make the right choice to acces the
input part of your sound card, a kind of a mixer panel will show up.
Sometimes you can select the slices of the panel. Again, this depends on the
features of your sound card. Let us suppose you end up with a panel that
shows: Steromix, Mic, Line-IN, or more and/or other names. Your keyboard has
most likely to be connected (with the correct cable!) to Line-IN. Maybe you
have to try several possibillities before you hit the right jack. If
connected look if the pane on the mixerpanel has to be selected and before
playing, remember to set the volume slider at least at 'midway' but not to
high. Good luck.
Hans.
