Sorting a merge

I am using Word 2003.
I have a merge document (file labels). When I finish there will probably be
at least 500 records to merge onto labels. If I want to merge and print in
sections - such as records beginning with A through C, then records D through
Gl, then records Gm through I etc. Is there a way to do this in a merge file?

You can sort them before you merge. In your data source just click on the
title heading of the text you want sorted - it will sort for you, then just
print the pages you want (or when you select merge to new document, there is
also a choice there to print records ? to ?)
