and then burn it in the same order.

the problem is, i sort the photos un the pc folder and then burn a
CDrom, but when i see the CDrom in other PC, the photos dont show in
the same order.

can i "save" the sort settings of the folder in the CDrom?

when you pull the files into your cd burning program , check the options for
file order in the burning program itself

One way is to rename the photos in the sequence you want to burn them. Img1,
Img2, Img3,etc. I have to do it all of the time when trying to follow a
timeline and I'm using images from more than 1 camera. Steve T.

Not without renaming them such that the names in the folder are in the order
that you wish. Merely moving the files around in the explorer windows just
makes cosmetic changes.

mm thankz for the answers.. but the problem is more complex

fox example.. if i create a CDrom with files sorted by size and then i
put teh cdrom in other PC, the files are not sorted by size, because
the PC configuration sort the files by name.
My question is.. how i can save the "sort" option in the CDrom so when
i insert the CDrom in any PC always show the files sorted by size.

Um, once the CDROM is opened in Explorer, then sort by size. How many
seconds does that take?

Here's one way to do it:

pull up the window with all the pics you want. then sort them in any way you
want. then Sselect all files (CTRL+A). Then right click the very first file
and re-name it. Windows will automatically re-name all the folders selected
in a sequential order. Then when you burn to CD (assuming your CD burner
sorts by filename), your pics will be burned in the order you set up.

Hope that helps.
