Sort by address

When sorting by email address, the first part of the address (before the @
symbol) is often "help" or "support" or some other standard word.
So one should have an option to sort emails using the part of the address
AFTER the @ symbol as well.

Microsoft has not put out any new updates for Windows Mail in the last
17 months, and doesn't seem likely to offer any more in the future.

They are now putting most of their email effort toward a newer email
program, Windows Live Mail.

And when you get ten e-mails from users at @yahoo.com or gmail.com or
hotmail.com, how do you want the sorted?

As good an idea as that is, there appears to be little or no chance that any
feature or improvement will ever be added to Windows Mail.

You obviously didn't really comprehend my suggestion.
"when you get ten e-mails from users at @yahoo.com" you can first sort the
entire inbox (which could be hundreds of emails) to find all the yahoo
addresses and THEN sort through the more manageable number again to select
the ones you want. My suggestion was to have this additional sort option AS
WELL not INSTEAD.

Looks like a reasonable request, but Microsoft now seems rather reluctant
to add any kind of features to Windows Mail, or even fixes for the known
bugs.

Most of their email program work is now on a newer email program with
a similar name:

Don't MS care about their customers then?
This would be such a small addition to the Win' mail program, and such an
obvious necessity, that I cannot beleive they would not do it.

Not Outlook Express of Windows Mail customers. They expect their corporate
customers to use Outlook. They are still working on and "improving" Windows
Live Mail.
