Just an apology & an explanation. The reason I haven't been on much lately, & perhaps been more distracted than usual, asides from random earth quakes , is that John had what was probably a mild heart attack a couple of weeks ago. The Doctors are keeping a close eye on him & have done lots of tests but basically they can't do much unless it happens again while they've got him hooked up to their machines.
The last few weeks have been pretty scary. he's had a lot of chest pains etc since, but nothing serious enough to actually qualify as a heart attack itself, luckily. At the moment it seems to be easing off again so hopefully that will be it, for now at least. I've never been superstitious, but have to confess I'm touching wood big time right now But as I said. things are looking good for the moment

Gosh Ciri, I'm so sorry to hear this - I was wondering where you were, but thought that you were perhaps busy painting again. Please give our very best to John, hope he is beginning to feel lots better, and a big long-distance hug to you also, because can I understand how very anxious you must have been feeling all this time - still are feeling The good thing is that so much positive stuff can be done for heart problems these days, to keep things under control, as I'm sure you already know.
