Sorry, I accidentally deleted my original post (so I can't read responses).

I'm using XP Home edition. Is there a way to stop the program from saving
"records of recently accessed documents, programs, and web sites"?

I know that you can CLEAR them from the START menu, but I would like to
eliminate them altogether.

Thanks.

I think your looking for this:

Right-click the task bar and select properties. Click the Start Menu tab and
click the customize button. On the Advanced tab clear the check box that
says "List my most recently opened documents". :-)
