Sony CDX-MP30 doesn't like XP burned MP3's

Question: My Sony xplod CDX-MP30 will not play mp3 CD's
burned as a data CD using Windows XP - I get an error code
from the player and the disc is ejected.

When I reburn them as a data CD on a different computer
using my old windows 98 and Roxio it works fine. Is there
a plugin or setting that needs to be changed to allow XP
to burn MP3 CD's for my xplod?
