this is an oem cd /rw

when i put a data disk into the drive
windows comes up with

Desk top

Access to the specified device path or file is denied

it works fine on audio cd's

window is a new clean install

The account is probably limited on access rights and the CD is trying to
execute an autorun script. Autorun scripts are installation scripts
usually and when encountered by limited access users will be denied.
Make sure the account is administrator and try again to see.
