I just purchased this external DVD RW R unit and I cannot
burn DVDs. I have a Dell that has a dvd rom & CDRW
drive. I note that others have had problems with this
burner while others do not.

Help.
 
I'm having a similar problem having added a Sony DRU510
to my Dell Dimension 8300 which already had the Samsung
DVD-ROM/CD-RW installed.

Please let me know if you get this sorted.

I, too, am in the same precise situation (Dimension 4500) and would
love to either know what to do or which forums will be most useful. I
had read that some of the software bundled with the 510UL interfere
with other applications such as DVD X Copy. Newbie in need of
advice...
