i have gotten used to using control + enter to
automatically complete web addresses...unfortunately by
some keystroke accident this no longer works and instead
i get transferred to the msn search engine...does anyone
know what has changed and how to return to the previous
function of control + enter?

Using Regedit, browse to the following registry key and make sure the noted
setting is correct:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoComplete]
"Append Completion"="yes"

also see the following values:

"Use AutoComplete"="yes"
"AutoSuggest"="no"

I can't think of one. Get your IT support to fix it. Give them a copy of
the message.
