sometimes can't access google.com or yahoo.com

Sometimes IE does not let me access google.com or
yahoo.com (says that "The page cannot be displayed").
After a few days, it gets back to normal and I can access
those pages again. What's going on?

I know that it's not something dealing with my internet
provider (b/c I can still access these pages using
Netscape Navigator). My roommates can still access the
pages using IE on *their* computer. It's just something
with my computer. Does anybody know what I need to do to
fix this?

Could be spyware or hijacker, which has installed itself as an extension of
IE. That could explain why Netscape works ok.
