Restarted my computer and the following popped up after three years.
"Windows XP Home Edition"
Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr 050301-1359 Service Pack 2

Is there anyway I can get rid of this?

To elaborate on what Rock said:

Open TweakUI, and click "General". In the right side, deselect the following
option.

"Show Windows version on desktop"

Click Apply, and then click OK.

Download Tweakui, one of the MS powertoys from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/default.mspx

Run it and look in there for the option to turn off this branding.
