Can anyone help me, please? It's pretty clean Windows 2003 standard
server with the Novell Client 4.9 and Services for Netware 5.2 which
will be used to migrate files from a Novell server to the W2003
server, then the Novell Client and Novell services will be removed
from the server.

Those to are the only additions. Everything is straight forward.
Yes, all updated from Windows Update.

My readings indicate you have Exchange installed which you did not mention.
Is that true?

Exchange is not installed on this Windows 2003 server and has never
been installed.

Im Seeing the Same Problem

I was wondering if you ever found a resolution to this - Im seeing the same problem on a 2003 server.

No Exchange Server Installed
Windows 2003 with Service Pack 1 Installed
Running NTBackup on local machine, logged on as the administrator with Domain Admins and Backup Operators rights.

Have found this article on ms website, but I have up to date AV and none of the registry entries or files exist.
