So first you need to terminate this transfer wizard. When does this
wizard appear? Does the transfer wizard have a name? Can you find the
transfer wizard in the list of programs in Control Panel's Add/Remove
programs list? If so, highlight the wizard and click on "Remove".

You also need to verify that the Windows files are OK. Go to Programs
-- Accessories -- System Tools -- System restore. You may be able to
restore the system to its state before the crash.
