Someone Help me.

Hello,

I just have a few questions. I just installed XP Home
on a Amd K6-2 400Mhz. It's running fine. My Dsl
connection is working. Just a few questions.

1. I have a Sound Blaster 16. I installed the drivers
for it. It plays some sound. But after a few seconds it
just seems to stop playing. What can I do?

2. I have an Epson Sylus Color 480SXU. It is a Usb
printer, but either my usb connection is not present in
Xp or I'm not setting it up right. I have the proper
drivers for it right off the Epson Web site. I try to
install it and it does not work.


I would ***REALLY*** appreciate the help.

Regarding question #2 about the USB. I suggest you check the BIOS and
ensure it is enabled there. Also "some" USB drivers need to be installed
and the system re-booted before actually connecting the item.
Sorry can't help much with the sound card, only if you open device manager
and there is a explanation mark there, remove (software wise) the item then
re-boot and let the system try to find it again. (providing you have the
driver installed.)

If this is the old ISA Sound Blaster 16, then it's not compatible with XP,
you need to get a newer soundcard.
