Somehow all my messages got deleted!

Hi, I was trying to set-up my e-mail account (shaw) and I had 182 messages,
but then I realized I was on my son's account on the computer, so I went
back to mine and now I have 0 messages? How did this happen? I checked on
shaw's webmail and I have no messages there either! I'm not in a good mood
because those messages were important! Please help me!
 
You likely downloaded the messages to your son's message store. Check his
inbox. You can have the messages persist on the on the server via Tools |
Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced and check the box at the bottom to
leave a copy on the server.
