some urls are not showing hyperlinked

Chris

I received an email with multiple url links. The email is in HTML format.
But some of the urls are not hyperlinked, meaning you can't click on it to go
to the web sites. Others are OK. I forwarded the same email to my yahoo
account. All urls are showing hyperlinked. But forwarded to hotmail and it
showed the same problem. If I login my Outlook using Citrix then it showed me
all urls are hhyperlinked.

switched between cached mode and MAPI mode. Same thing.

I forwarded the email to another Outlook user and it showed the same thing,
not hyperlinked.

Any idea?

Thanks.

If the message was in HTML format, then it has already been decided (by
the sender's mail client) what is a clickable hyperlink, and what is
not. The receiving mail client (your Outlook) cannot do anything about that.

Most likely the sender did not specify a full, valid URL, with an
address that is likely a non-standard domain name (e.g. something.info).
If the sender specified http://something.info/ then almost any email
client would recognize it and make it a clickable hyperlink.
