Some unfixable differences between what the page looks like in Frontpage and what it looks like in t

Hello,

What could be wrong if the following happens:

1) A page that has been published before is updated and has to be
republished. After the publication process it turns out the page hasn't
changed on the server. I've tried everything: emptying cache, publish again,
publish the file individually) but it still doesn't work.

2) On several pages there are navigation bars based on the navigation
structure. For instance: one page contains a navigation bar to the pages of
a sublevel and on those subpages there are bars to the pages on the same
level. However, after publishing, ALL the bars are put on the first page.

Thanks for any hints,

Lenny

Provide a URL to look at

Is it on a Unix server and is the server case sensitive, so Page.htm is refreshed but page.htm is not

Hi,

The site is hosted by Angelfire. I don't know which server system they use.

The URL is http://www.angelfire.com/ultra/waldec/index.html
The site is in Dutch but if you look at the buttons, all the buttons after
Oefeningen are not supposed to be there. They belong on the page that you
get when clicking Oefeningen.

And concerning the refresh-problem ... We have renamed the pages already
because we thought the names might affect the problem, but it didn't help.

Don't understand
Are there only supposed to be 4 buttons (ending w/ Oefeningen) on
http://www.angelfire.com/ultra/waldec/index.html
or is the problem w/ that link having 3 buttons at
http://www.angelfire.com/ultra/waldec/Oefeningen.htm

PS - non of your ads are showing - Page not found

Hi,

The adds pop up because it's a free Angelfire account ... so if they don't
show up, that's not bad at all ...

There are indeed only supposed to be 4 buttons on the index.html page ...
the three others are only supposed to be on the Oefeningen.htm page

Hi,

I actually replied to this message a couple of days ago, but for some reason
the message never turned up here, so I'll repost it:

There are supposed to be four buttons ending with Oefeningen on the first
page. The rest is only supposed to be present on the lower level (including
the second page).

The fact that the ads aren't showing isn't all that bad ... It's a free
Angelfire account which comes with ads we have no control over.
