Hello,
I am using frames pages (Banner and Contents template) on a few pages in my
site. On all my other pages I use a consistent link bar based on the general
navigation structure of my site. Frames Pages Help however, does not
recommend using link bars within frames pages. When I have used my normal
link bar in the "banner" part of my frames page, when a link is clicked (ie
to go to the home page) it opens the page in the contents part of my page,
which looks daft.
When I use a simple interactive button in the banner with a hyperlink to the
index.htm file it works fine but after publishing it means that each time the
button is clicked my site hit counter is incremented by one as if a new
person was visiting the site.
Could someone suggest a better way to navigate back to other pages in my
site (other than using the "back" button) from within the frames page.
