Some sort of boogey man in WM 4.7

Combs

This bug hatchery is overly comlicating my life! If at
any time I start WM I can't close it without a complete
shutdown. I get a message saying I need to close
apllications like Outlook, OLExpress, IE etc., but none of
the are running. After starting WM I also have problem
with Norton clean Sweep telling me to close IE when it
isn't running. Any ideas? Thanks.
 
I updated to 5.0 and modified the XP firewall as suggested
in the message above on file transfers and one or the
other seems to have solved the problem (I can't see how
the firewall changes would affect this, so it was probably
addressed in the update). Thanks.
