Some Programs Want to Access "A" Drive

When I try to open some programs the "A" drive is cranking away like the
computer is attempting to access that drive. Another problem - I just
upgraded to Windows XP and had to import some files from a floppy disk into
my Print Shop program. When I try to open those files within the program
they try to open in the "A" drive which they can't do. If I go into the "C"
drive tree and find the folder where the files are stored they will then
open. What can I do to get my computer to stop trying to open files from the
"A" drive
 
Perhaps the application is trying to access a file specified in the MRU (Most Recent Used) file list?

Clear the MRU listing using MRU-Blaster:
