Some programs do not allow removal through ControlPanel/Add or Remove Programs

Several items have shown up in the Currently Installed
Programs: ELN Bonus,MSSoap, Custom Info, and Deal Info
(twice for this one). The smell strongly of spyware, and
have hidden themselves so they can not be found through
Search. Also, in Add or Remove Programs, there is no
dialogue to allow them to be removed.

The Knowledge Base shows a way to remove programs when
removal has failed. This requires editing the registry,
and uses some terms that I find ambiguous.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
 
Thank-you, I have ad-aware and run it daily, but the rest
of these are new to me. I will try them all.
