KSor - You're in the right newsgroup for general questions about Windows XP.
If you're asking a programming question (because I don't know what "I'm
working with VS C# would mean otherwise), then you should ask in a
programming group. If a VS C# programming group sent you here, it was
probably because they found your question ambiguous, just as I do.
Assuming that you aren't talking about applications that you wrote yourself
and which aren't behaving in the expected manner:
1. The First Question Of Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what
changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't?
2. Which programs don't show up in Add/Remove Programs? Not all programs are
coded to do that, particularly older ones. Look in each program's folder in
the Program Files directory. Do you see an uninstaller? It might be called
something like uinstall.exe or the like.
More details will get you a more focused answer.
