Add or Remove Programs question

Looking through programs listed in the Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs
I note that the information shown is not correct.
Against some it shows Used frequently but Last Used in 2006, whereas I use
them every week, others shows Used Rarely and Last Used 2006 and again I use
every week.
How come this info is incorrect and how can it be updated to reflect correct
use?
Thanks.

I've had the same situation. I can't help you, but I simply disregard what
it says. Doesn't bother me.

Learn to live with it. You can't change it, and it certainly isn't
hurting anything.

Mine does the same thing. Can't figure it out. Life has some mysteries
that are best left alone.

Remember the warnings that were displayed on the edge of ancient maps:
"Beyond here there be dragons." What you describe is a dragon, best left
alone.

IIRC, The date 'last used' in Add/Remove programs actually refers to the
date the INSTALLER was last used (to install the program, or change the
installed functions) NOT the date the program was last used??
