Some of the items in the 'Deleted Items' folder could not be delet

Hi,
An unknown error message along with "Some of the items in the 'Deleted
Items' folder could not be deleted" shows up when I try to empty my Deleted
Items folder. When I open the folder there are no messages in it, but my
folder says it contains 5 messages. I have tried the Vista patch for stuck
e-mails, with no success.
Any ideas ?

has some additional "Workaround" procedures if the patch doesn't do
the job. Those procedures are very labor-intensive and tricky, and I
recommend another alternative which is much easier: upgrade to
Windows Live Mail: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview
